Basic knowledge, in the organiser’s own words, “basiskennis over vitamines, mineralen en supplementen”. Read that as the ground floor, what a vitamin is actually doing in the body, where minerals come into it, what a supplement is and is not allowed to claim on its label in the EU, and why that asterisk sits next to “helps to support the immune system”.
The Venue
Huid en Haar Clinics has been on Nieuwstraat since 2010 and is a proper treatment practice, skin therapy, laser, injectables, medical skincare, the full menu. Daniëlle van Schaik runs it, she is a nurse and skin therapist and the practice is BIG registered, and the shelves carry Dermalogica, REN and Dermasence. The clinic normally closes at 18:00 on a Friday, so the last half hour is the club’s own. Everything is appointment only, which means no one is wandering in for a laser session while you are holding a glass. Nieuwstraat 1 is in the centre of Baarn and the clinic answers questions on 035 533 01 00.

Its previous evening at this clinic, Beauty Bites & Business in March, was priced at 35 euro ex BTW, 30 euro for members, drinks and a small gift included, and the club points out that the ticket goes through your books as a business cost.
