Dandiya Event 2026
Woodlem Park School Dubai
I have been looking for one good garba night in Dubai before Navratri starts, and I have picked this one. Riveara is holding Rang Ratri Season 4 on Saturday 10 October 2026 at Woodlem Park School in Al Qusais, and they have called it Ratri Before Navratri because Navratri itself begins the next morning, on Sunday 11 October.

That timing is the reason I am going to this one and not to the others.
Why I Picked The Saturday
Most of us who keep the first day do not want to be dancing until midnight and then getting up early for the kalash. This night runs from 6.30pm to 11pm, so I will be home by 11.30pm with the whole of Sunday still free for the puja. That is what the name means, and I think it is a sensible way to plan it.
There are other dandiya nights in the city that same weekend, and some of them are running 3 nights in a row, but I do not have 3 nights in me before a 9 day festival. One proper night is enough.
What Is On The Night
Riveara plans family events, and the programme reads like a family night rather than a concert. This is what they have announced:
- Live music.
- Garba and dandiya raas for the full evening.
- A fashion show.
- Food stalls.
- A market for outfits, jewellery and dandiya sticks.
I will be buying my sticks before the day, because the ones sold inside are always the expensive ones. My outfit is sorted already; I am wearing cotton, because October evenings here are still warm and I have learned that lesson with polyester once before.
- Saturday 10 October 2026, 6.30pm to 11pm.
- Woodlem Park School, Al Qusais, Dubai, near the Lulu Hypermarket.
- General admission is 35 AED, and that price already includes VAT.
- Tickets are on eticketing.ae: https://www.eticketing.ae/concerts-tickets/dandiya-night-2026-tickets/
Book Tickets & Pay Now

35 AED for a full evening of garba, food and a stage is a good price for Dubai, and I have booked mine already rather than wait for the gate.
The best part of this listing is the free entry. Children get in free, and senior citizens get in free as well, so I am taking my parents along at no extra cost, and the only tickets our family needs are the adult ones. If you are going with kids or with your parents, this is the offer to use, so book the adult tickets now and bring everyone else along on the night.
